Pastor Juan Garcia
Pastor J.M. Garcia was born in Puerto Rico. He graduated high school from the Metropolitan Seventh Day Academy. He finished his bachelor's in Theology and minored in Biblical Languages from the Seventh Day Adventist College in P.R. He continued his education through the Loma Linda University and the State University of New York at Brockport, pursuing a Master's in International Health. He has a National Certification in Addiction Treatment and he is a Certified Alcoholism Counselor from the state of New York. Currently he holds a professional teaching license, a Commission Ministry of teaching credential through the North American Division of Seventh day Adventists.
Pastor Garcia has been married for 33 years to Marisol, and has two children: Lorna Jean a teacher at Greater Miami Adventist Academy and Juan, Jr. a Christian Lawyer for a firm in Coral Gables, FL.
Brother Garcia has extensive experience in ministry, education, addiction and counseling, especially working with young people. Presently he is the Chaplain and Bible teacher for Miami Union Academy.
He considers himself a humble servant of the Almighty.
