Ashaala S. JenkinsAshaala S. Jenkins is purposed to help others become healed, restored, and inspired, through her music and motivational speaking ministries; not with the intent to entertain, but rather to enlighten, educate, encourage, and empower.

Her songs and personal testimonies, tell of her dealing with life lessons, survival, strength, courage, love, and integrity. Born "Ashaala Shanae Jenkins' in the city of Brooklyn, New York, and later migrating at the age of 4 to the British Virgin Islands, and then to Miami, Florida at age 17; Ashaala has endured and experienced a journey of life-altering events in which she is not afraid to stand and share with whomever she comes in contact with. The struggles and unfortunate circumstances that have occurred in my life have only been a catalyst to the music that has been birthed from within me by the inspiration of God, which I now share with others.Says Ashaala,as she talks about her experiences growing up as a teenager challenged by a then, alcoholic mother, and a drug addicted, incarcerated father, which brought on the burdens of coping in an unstable home environment, emotional and verbal abuse, low self esteem, abandonment issues, and insecurities.

Rising above the challenges in her life, Ashaala has managed to take those unfortunate experiences of her past, and has transferred her energy and passion towards a career in Music. Obtaining a Music Business and Entertainment degree from the University of Miami, as a profession, Ashaala has been seen touring with legendary Grammy Award winning Soul singer, Betty Wright, (Singer of such hit songs like "No Pain, No Gain", "Clean up Woman", "Tonight is the Night"), Grammy Award winning Gospel Songstress Yolanda Adams, The Legendary singing group "The Platters', as well as with SOBE Entertainment/Warner Brothers Recording artists 'Urban Mystic'

In addition, Ashaala has also sung background for Brooke Hogan (Hulk Hogan's daughter of MTV's Hogan Knows Best)' Richard Smallwood, Pattie Labelle, Pastor A.J. Wright & Tribe of Judah, B. Chase Williams, Lisa Paige- Brookes, as well as local up coming Gospel Artists: Carmen Hope, Danny Smart, Jita, Marie Wells, and Kathy McClary.

Ashaala's musical abilities vary as a Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Vocal and Image Consultant/and Vocal Producer. While touring, Ashaala has been able to share the stage with various artists such as Mint Condition, India Arie, Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Martha Munizzi, Lisa McClendon, Richard Smallwood, Tye Tribett & GA, Denise Williams, The Emotions, The OJays, JMoss, Hezekiah Walker and LFC, Jaci Velazquez, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Toni Braxton, 112, New Edition, Kem, Lenny Williams, Jaguar Wright, Glenn Jones, and many others.

Ashaala is the Founder and President of he P31 Women Club- Alpha Pi Iota Chapter(A Christian Women Sorority devoted to edifying a unique class of Christian Women who are committed to a lifestyle of Integrity, Grace, Purity and Virtue); and CEO of 31 Enterprises(A Multi-Service Entertainment & Arts Company focusing on Fashion, Motivational Speaking, Songwriting, Community Service, Vocal Consulting, Vocal Production, and Artist Development).

Her ultimate desire is to reach young and old music listeners through positive, inspirational, soulful, uplifting music, which will heal, grow, and inspire, the listener soul. Ashaala is also a member of Miami own song-writing camp, he M.O.S.T.(Mountain of Songs Today); facilitated by Grammy Award-winning, Soul Singer, Betty Wright. When not traveling, Ashaala serves in the Music Department at her local church, Tabernacle Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and hopes to continue her love for Inspirational music and ministry through her own solo project entitled, ealing Songs: Vol. 1
